Redcoats in action at Hearts That Care

Redcoats from the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce are back in action!

Thirty two of us attended the Ribbon Cutting for Hearts That Care in Lawton, the most attendance we've seen since February.

Hearts That Care is a non-profit, volunteer clinic that provides medical, dental and vision care free for residents who do not have insurance.

They used to be housed in a small metal building that barely served their needs, but being a donation based organization that was all they could afford.

With grants and local donations, this clinic has raised 1.2 million of the 1.4 million needed to completely restore the new facility and provide medical care to more individuals.

As a Redcoat, I enjoy the opportunity to welcome new businesses and congratulate expanding businesses. 

But this one stole our hearts. Their commitment and dedication to those less fortunate restores our faith in others.
