Funeral home receives significant damage during storm

Straight-line winds tore off a sheetmetal  roof during severe thunderstorms in Oklahoma. This caused torrential rains to enter a this local funeral home.

SERVPRO of Lawton was called to tarp the roof and remove wet ceiling tiles and insulation. We also extracted water from the carpet and ensured the area was dry.

However, with the forecast for more storms, we could not complete the drying process until the roof was repaired.

Following the roof repair, our SERVPRO team inspected the property again to document areas that were still wet, and installed the necessary equipment to ensure a complete dry down.
